It was such a lovely evening hanging out with Hannah and Nick for their engagement session! The weather was perfect, not too hot or cold, and the two of them had a natural chemistry that was so fun to photograph. They weren’t afraid to laugh and flirt with each other, something I love to see in the couple’s I work with!
We took a short hike up to an area I’ve never taken any clients. There’s sage brush all over (one of my favorites!) and these gorgeous rocks that stand tall from the ground. Hannah’s dress was so romantic with the swooped low back, I couldn’t get enough of photographing it! Complimented by the edge of Nick’s leather jacket, their outfits were really set off by the environment we were in! All the colors worked so well together – and the golden light of the evening lifted the session to an even higher level!
While we were wandering around, a cow elk watched from a distance, keeping a close eye on us as we took photos. One of my most favorite parts of living and working here in Montana – it’s not uncommon for wild animals to be a part of photo sessions!
Congratulations, Hannah and Nick! I’m so excited for your wedding in August!! 🙂
