5 Things You Don’t Know About Me

Hey there! In the mood for a little get to know you post? Here’s some things I’m pretty sure most of you don’t know about me:

1. I don’t know how to do a cartwheel.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Seems silly, right? It bugs me more than it should. I have tried over and over again to figure it out, but can’t seem to get it. I don’t know if it’s because I’m more afraid of falling or looking like my brothers when they were little boys doing “tricks”… (I’m looking at you, Chris!) Any tips would be appreciated!

2. I’m a serious nerd.

New office supplies are the best thing ever. Paper reams are boring, but everything else is super exciting to get! I loved school, and still love school, and at one point in my life I actually asked my dad to give me math assignments just because I thought it was fun…. In the middle of summer break. Yes. I was that kid. But hey, it paid off! My brains and hard work earned me Valedictorian in High School and paid my way through college. #win

3. Chocolate Almond Parfaits rock my world.

The Chocolate Almond Parfait can only be found at a Mustard Seed or Noodle’s Express restaurant in Missoula. That’s my go-to dessert for any special occasion in my life, and it’s been that way since I was sixteen, and no, it doesn’t matter that it’s 45 miles away from where I live. It’s worth every bite of creamy, chocolatey, almondy goodness crammed into that martini glass. If they ever discontinue it, there’s a good chance I might need therapy.

4. I’ve got a big family.

My immediate family isn’t all that big I guess, my parents and the four of us kids. I’m the oldest of us four, and definitely the shortest. Ironically enough, my baby brother is the tallest of us all. Anywho, when you start adding in aunts, uncles, and cousins, things start going from “big” to “huge”. Like, pushing 100 first cousins huge. That’s what happens when each parent comes from families of 10+ children! Having a big family is awesome though, especially my big family. We’ve got stories and memories that I’d never trade for the world!

5. i like cold pizza.

I love pizza! There are so many varieties of flavors, it’s super easy to make, easy to eat, and I can eat it straight out of the fridge the next morning and it tastes just as good (but usually better) than it did the night before! Can it get much better than that?

Any other nerdy, non-cartwheel-knowing, pizza-chocolate-almond-loving, come-from-a-huge-family folks out there? Let’s be friends!
