It’s finally here! After months of waiting, the 2016 spring/summer edition of Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine has been released, and I finally get to see the images from my first ever styled shoot in print!

We live in a world of constant change, short attention spans, and information overload. How am I supposed to stick out of the crowd and catch people’s attention when I can’t even hardly find the inspiration to post a photo on Instagram, let alone write a blog post?

Now that the 2016 Shoot & Share Photo Contest has come to a close, I hope that all of you have been able to get back into your normal routines – those ones that don’t involve questioning the existence of the elusive hedgehog and wondering how to choose between the groom with the facial hair and man-bun, or the other groom with the facial hair and man-bun. Don’t even get me started on the “empty refrigerator” routine

Anytime anyone calls me up about photographing their engagement I turn into that middle school girl who just got asked to the school dance by her crush – giddy with excitement, slightly obsessive, with a serious case of perma-grin…
