It’s finally here! After months of waiting, the 2016 spring/summer edition of Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine has been released, and I finally get to see the images from my first ever styled shoot in print!
When a local event planner, Autumn, contacted me about doing this styled shoot for RMB, she explained to me the details of her A River Runs Through It themed inspiration that would highlight the Bitterroot Valley and it’s wedding vendors. There would be vintage fishing gear, an old Model T car, and the models were a beautiful couple who lived nearby – of course I was in!
It was a ton of fun hanging out with the vendors that day, and the local news even dropped by to do a story on what we were up to! My “photographer’s stance” and squinty face was so attractive, let me tell ya! 😉 We even got to eat the delicious cake afterwards!
All of the vendors are members of the Bitterroot Wedding Association, a new resource (started by Autumn) for couples, local and destination, looking to get married in the Bitterroot Valley. In an area that still does so many things the old fashioned way, like booking clients with a handshake and not having much of an online presence, the BWA site is an excellent way to find vendors and their contact information all in one place.
Thanks to these rockstars for making it all happen!!
