Lauren and Joe’s story started in California, where they lived, met, and fell in love. They knew they were going to be together forever, and eventually would raise a family together. Where they would raise their family, they weren’t sure, they just knew it would be somewhere with wide open spaces, good fishing, and mountains to explore! Then they decided to take a road trip to see a friend in Montana, and that’s when they knew they had found the place. Montana would be that perfect spot to start their married lives together!
So they moved!
It wasn’t too long after they landed in Missoula that Lauren and Joe got engaged at the top of Mount Sentinel in Missoula. Joe got her a diamond ring with a personal touch: two blue birthstones from the month she was born. I love it when rings have a unique flare to them!
When Lauren and I met up for coffee to chat about her and Joe’s engagement session, she told me about their story, what brought them to Montana, and what they enjoyed doing together. They loved hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, and pretty much everything outdoors. They also had a puppy-dog! The feel she wanted in her photos: big mountains, little couple. Location: Glacier National Park.
In other words, this engagement session would be amazing.
It was. 😉
